Orecchiette with Rocket
A simple Italian pasta dish combining orecchiette pasta with fresh rocket, cherry tomatoes, garlic, and chili pepper in an olive oil-based sauce.
Ingredients
- 300 g orecchiette pasta
- 300 g rocket
- 8 cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 chili pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Clean and wash the rocket thoroughly.
- Cook rocket in plenty of salted water for 5 minutes.
- Add orecchiette to the pot and continue cooking both together.
- In a separate pan, heat oil with crushed garlic and chili pepper.
- When garlic becomes golden, add halved cherry tomatoes and cook 5 minutes.
- Combine cooked pasta and vegetables with the tomato mixture.
- Serve immediately.
